GCE Results,Public Private Affair,Fake Code

The General Certificate of Education Board has said that the results will be a private affair of the candidates, yet the national station is broadcasting them. The code that was confidently given out by the Registrar Humphrey Ekema has failed.
In his boastful manner,he said he tried the code and it worked,he should come and witness how students now have low batteries just because they want to try the so called fast way to get results.
The GCE board boss said students should simply dial their center numbers plus candidate number without spacing in a message and send to 8070,they will have their results on the spot-many have tried it has FAILED.worst still is that

The so called code is being tasked 150 fcfa while no results is sent to the sender.
the board preach on privacy of the results but we know how some officials have results of their love ones even before they are released.
More so sooner or later the results would be sold in the streets like groundnuts.
The public private issue of the results is that the national station CRTV is reading them, what therefore becomes its privacy.

The results according to the GCE boss has had an improvement this year with 45.77% IN O/L,55.25% A/L,45.25% O/L Technical,65.90% A/L Technical
Eleven schools scored100% in O/L while 14 HAD 100% in A/L.

Andy Murray Beats Novak Djokovic In 3 sets, Wins Wimbledon

CBS New York

LONDON (CBSNewYork/AP) — The 2012 U.S. Open champion, Andy Murray has added another Grand Slam. The win at Wimbledon ended the seven decades of drought at the All England Club for British men.

Andy Murray made it possible Sunday, winning his country’s hallowed tennis tournament to become the first British man in 77 years to raise the trophy at the All England Club.

Yes, this was history, and Murray’s 6-4, 7-5, 6-4 victory over top-seeded Novak Djokovic was a fitting close to nearly eight decades of British frustration in its own backyard: A straight-setter, yes, but a hard-fought, 3-hour, 9-minute affair filled with long, punishing rallies and a final game that may have felt like another 77 years, with Murray squandering three match points before finally putting it away after four deuces.

On a cloudless, 80-degree day on Centre Court, Murray put his name beside that of Fred Perry, the…

Brazil Disgrace World Champion Spain in Confed’Cup Final

The Samba boys thrashed the World Cup and Euro champions 3-0 in a largely one-sided contest on Sunday night.

To the cheer of fans in a packed stadium at Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian and Spanish national teams took the pitch to play the Confederations Cup final.

The World Champions-Spain were looking to complete a hat-trick of wins after their World Cup and Euro success by adding the Confederations Cup to their titles.

Both teams were unbeaten in the run up to the final but Brazil looked the stronger team with the way they managed to win their matches. Spain eked their way to the final after a penalty shoot-out semi-final against Italy. While Brazil comfortably edged out Uruguay in their semi-final encounter.

The best generation of football stars who made the Spanish team reach new heights were looking for momentum as they took on a young Brazil team at home. Interestingly, Brazil have won the World Cup five times but recently have been lacking the Samba-style of play that Pele, Romario and Ronaldo brought to the beautiful game.

Spain on the other hand have been able to win 29 straight games at the international level a record that stretched back to 2010. It took to the combined brilliance of Neymar, Oscar and Fred to help the Confederations Cup and World Cup 2014 hosts to overpower Iker Casillas and his men.

The result was 3-0 routing at the end of 90 minutes that signalled the end of the Spanish dominance of world football. Many football observers point to the fact that Spain had less rest days as compared to Brazil and so looked slightly tired and not at the top of their game in the final.

Whatever the reason but Vicente Del Bosque and his team will have to return to the planning and strategy room as they have to recoup and plan a way to stop Luiz Felipe Scolari’s Brazilian team who have their tails up after a morale boosting win against the best team in the football world.
Brazil boosted their curriculum vitae by adding one more confederation cup to total four, three of which was won in a row,1997,2005,2009 and 2013.
Spain is yet to win a confederation cup title.
